古城遗址在祁东县砖塘乡，距县城42公里，因出土汉砖而得名。砖塘从三国到唐朝，曾为永昌县治所在地，是蜀尚书蒋琬的故里。历史上的护城河残墙残迹，如今还可见到，出土的石碑上有“蒋侯故里”四字。
Ancient City Ruins
The Ancient City Ruins are in Zhuantang Township, Qidong County, 42 km from the county seat, named for unearthed Han bricks. From the Three Kingdoms to the Tang Dynasty, Zhuantang was the seat of Yongchang County and the hometown of Shu Han Minister Jiang Wan. Remnants of the moat and walls are still visible, and an unearthed stone tablet bears the words 'Jiang Hou's Hometown'.
