The former residence of Xia Minghan is in Zhazi Township. Xia Minghan was among the first batch of CPC members personally developed by Comrade Mao Zedong. He once served as secretary of the Wuhan Peasant Movement Training Institute. His heroic martyrdom poem—"Beheading is nothing, so long as the doctrine is true; kill Xia Minghan, and there will be successors"—has been passed down to this day.
