Qingjiang Bridge in Qidong

Qingjiang Bridge in Qidong is located 53 km west of the county in Chengjianxu Township, spanning the upper reaches of the Qishui River. It is named for the clear water below. The bridge has 7 arches, hence also called Seven-Arch Bridge. Built in the mid-Qing Dynasty about 200 years ago, it is 84 meters long, 5 meters wide, and 9 meters high. It once had pavilions and 84 symmetrical wooden pillars, looking like a swimming dragon from afar. It is the longest and most arched stone bridge in the county.
