The cemetery is built of granite and white marble, with an entrance, walkway, tomb plaza, memorial tower, and tomb base, surrounded by pines, cypresses, and rare flowers, appearing solemn and elegant. It covers 5.29 mu, with a tower 8.2 meters high. In 1972, it was listed as a provincial cultural relic protection unit and serves as a patriotism education base for students in Hengshan County. Every Qingming, youths come to lay flowers and sweep the tombs, and many tourists visit at other times.

整座陵墓为花岗石和汉白玉构筑，依次为入口、走道、墓坪、纪念塔、墓座，衬以松柏、女贞藤等名贵花草，显得庄严、肃穆、雅致。整座陵园占地5.29亩，塔高8.2米。1972年该陵园被列为省级文物保护单位，并成为衡山县中小学生爱国主义教育基地。每年清明，少先队、共青团员都来这里献花扫墓。平时，亦有不少外来游人和当地人士观顾，登上陵园，仰慕英雄，肃然起敬，远眺湘江，近观美景，心旷神怡，别有一番感慨。
