Baishui River

Baishui River is located by the Xiongdi River southeast of Huayuan County town. Beside the mountain is a cave that gushes a large volume of spring water year-round, milky white in color. A Qing dynasty poet left the verse "White Spring and Snow": "Is it spring or snow that gushes and flows, spraying foam and flying streams as white waves; a hundred-foot silver dragon coils in the water palace, a thousand cries of white cranes shake the sunny shore; sunlight ripples as icebergs move, clouds blur as jade ramparts rise; I wish to cast a long rod into the white water, and fish for the divine turtle in the deep whirlpool."
