1973年泸溪二中在建球场时，挖出有石斧、石锛、刮削器、追击器、石锄与多种容器陶片及螺狮壳、兽骨等实物，经湖南省博物馆、厦门大学鉴定，属于新石器时代文物，现存在湖南省博物馆内。
Luxi Cultural Site
In 1973, while building a sports field, Luxi No. 2 Middle School unearthed stone axes, adzes, scrapers, projectile points, stone hoes, pottery shards of various vessels, snail shells and animal bones. Identified by the Hunan Provincial Museum and Xiamen University as Neolithic artifacts, they are now kept in the Hunan Provincial Museum.
