Pipa Stream Scenic Area — Husband-and-Wife Rock

About 400 meters up the stone path behind the slope of Tianjia Terrace stands a viewing platform against the mountain. From the platform, two peaks about 200 meters away lean against each other, closely resembling a couple standing shoulder to shoulder, with complete facial features, facing southeast. The trees and flowers atop the peaks look like their hair, headscarves and headwear, contrasting with their fair, clear faces. The wife, petite and shy, nestles close to her husband with downcast eyes as if whispering; the husband, bold and hearty, beams with joy, mouth open and teeth showing, as if full of happiness.
