It faces the Back Garden viewing platform of Yuanjiajie from afar. At 949 meters above sea level with a relative height of over 400 meters and a top area of 3 hectares, it is named for its many wild goats. The stone peak has sheer cliffs on the east, west and south sides, with only one path up on the north. The top is a gently sloping narrow stone ridge nearly 500 meters long and 20–30 meters wide, running east-west and covered with virgin secondary forest. 与袁家界后花园观景台遥遥相对。海拔９４９米，相对高度４００多米，顶部面积３公顷。因野山羊多而得名。石峰东、西、南三面皆绝壁，唯北面一径可上。顶部为一平缓的狭长石梁，长近５００米，宽２０－３０米，呈东西向，布满原始次生林。向西伸出三道小石梁，长１０－２０米，宽２－３米，前沿皆是高危奇绝的凌空观景台。立台上，仿佛置身云端。金鞭溪、沙刀沟宛如丝带隐现于峰谷绿丛中。放眼四周，千百座石峰环列足下，如剑戟森列，如将军布阵，如古塔竞姿。西面七对石峰似七对情侣，男俯女仰，相向而立。民国年间，此寨是土匪巢穴，留有卡门、残堡、断壕、屋场、水井、碓臼、磨坊等残迹。
