Yuanjiajie Scenic Area — Drunken Moon Pavilion

About 200 meters west of the Sea-Troubling Divine Turtle viewing platform stands a pavilion on the cliff edge, covering about 5 square meters. With six pillars, six eaves and six upturned corners, it is shaded by green trees. The plaque reads "Drunken Moon" and the couplet: "Jade dew and clear light, peaks in silence; secluded mountains and faint mist, dreams drifting." Beside it is another pavilion with the couplet: "A valley full of clear light, peaks accompany shadows; a terrace of auspicious hues, the moon peeps at people." Below the pavilion, a natural flat boulder resembles a half moon. Leaning on the railing above the half moon and looking down, the cliff below is sheer, plunging over 300 meters.
