Shadao Valley Scenic Area — Heartless Peak

A hundred meters north of Qingxin Pool, looking back southeast, a peak stands like a screen reaching into the clouds. To its east and west are peaks about 10 meters high, resembling a pair of lovers facing each other. The eastern peak is like a young woman, with vegetation on top like upswept hair, a delicate face, hands slightly raised before her chest in a demure and virtuous pose, gazing at the screen peak 30 meters opposite. The western peak is like a stalwart man, back against the gray rock, with a prominent nose and large mouth, chest thrust forward, seemingly full of resentment, also glaring at the screen peak 30 meters away. Separated by the screen peak, this pair of lovers will forever remain apart.
