Zhangjiajie Jinping Box Rock

Box Rock is located in Jinping Village, Gaoqiao Township, Cili County, with the Cili–Dongxi highway winding around its base, covering an area of 1.7 kilometers. Its south side is about 200 meters high and 80 meters long, dropping sheer like a cut wall, entirely composed of rectangular rock blocks. The blocks are generally about 6 meters long and 2 meters high, dark black and glossy, closely resembling black suitcases — hence the name Box Rock.
