田汉大剧院位于湖南长沙劳动西路，建筑总面积28151平方米，地上6层，地下1层，外观新颖独特，仪态万方是矗立在贺龙体育场东南角。
大剧院是一座多功能的文化建筑，人们在此不仅能欣赏到世界著名的歌剧、芭蕾、交响乐等高雅艺术，也能召开高标准的国际会义，或享受餐饮、购物等休闲乐趣。
