How to Tour the Wulingyuan Core Area: Multi-day Tickets, Shuttles and Cableways

Wulingyuan's ticket is valid for several days with multiple entrances; the area is huge, so smart use of shuttles and cableways saves both energy and time.

The Wulingyuan core area (Zhangjiajie National Forest Park) is huge and hard to cover in one day, so tickets are usually valid for several days and there are multiple entrance gates (Forest Park, Wujiayu, Yangjiajie, Tianzi Mountain, Zimugang, etc.).

Inside the area:

• Shuttle buses link the main sights and cableway stations — the area's internal bus network, covered by your ticket.
• Cableways / the elevator: Tianzi Mountain, Yangjiajie and Huangshizhai cableways, plus the ~326 m Bailong Elevator, save a lot of energy (usually ticketed separately or via a combo).
• Sightseeing tram: along the Ten-Mile Gallery.

Tips: Day 1 enter at the Forest Park gate for Golden Whip Stream; Day 2 take the Bailong Elevator or Tianzi cableway up to Yuanjiajie / Tianzi Mountain. In peak season, book in advance and enter early to beat the queues.
